Want to Write for Metal at the Gates? Apply Today!
We want you! Yes, you! Due to increased demand for interviews and reviews as a result of our growing reputation, Metal at the Gates is in need of a few good men (or women) to bolster our staff writer ranks.
Though we’d love to take on as many Journalism, English, and Communications graduates or students as possible, we’re more than that happy to take on anyone with the skills and professionalism necessary for the job, and most importantly, a true passion for heavy metal music. That being said, the ideal candidate will have the dedication to submit at least one article per week or three per month, so that we can keep up with our demands for daily content.
Despite being an American company, we’re more than happy to take on writers from all over the world. In fact, the international scene is our life blood, so European, Asian, South American, and Australian fans do apply! All writers will be given early releases of heavy metal albums and tickets to concerts free of charge, but with the stipulation that you must review what you receive, so it’s a win-win for all.
That all being said, if you’re passionate about heavy metal music, possess strong writing and communication skills, a firm grasp of the English language, and like the idea of talking to and even hanging out with your favorite heavy metal bands then stand up and shout! Or just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject – Writing for MATG. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing what you can bring to the table.
After all of that, we at Metal at the Gates want to thank you all for taking the time to read our articles, view our galleries and videos, and tell us when we kicked some ass or screwed up – the latter always helps us improve. As passionate metalheads with lives outside of this webzine, we’re proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish in these last nine months and we wouldn’t be doing it if it weren’t for you all keeping the heavy metal spirit alive in these crucial times. Thank you so very much and keep up the support. Bigger and better things are coming from the MATG crew every day!
