News: Rock Allegiance is the Better Father’s Day Gift
Written by Shannon Reardon
It’s at this time every year we all take that awkward trip to the mall to look at this year’s variety of grill equipment, ties, and, if you have a nerdy stepdad like myself, Star Wars memorabilia.
Don’t do it. Put the grill tongs down.
Instead, get dad something that he’ll appreciate far more, tickets to Rock Allegiance in Camden, NJ, on Oct. 7.
Festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents wanted to make this year’s Father Day special with a “Buy 3 Take Dad Free” deal available until Sunday, June 18 at 11:59 p.m.
This year’s Rock Allegiance will feature over 20 bands on three stages, along with mouth-watering, Philly-centric food offerings, regional and national craft beer, band meet-and-greets, autograph signings, and more for fans from around the country to immerse themselves in rock and roll culture.
For dad’s enjoyment, the current list of national and regional craft beers are: 21st Amendment (San Francisco, CA), Dogfish Head (Milton, DE), Founders (Grand Rapids, MI), Neshaminy Creek (Croydon, PA), Oskar Blues (Longmont, CO), Spellbound (Mount Holly, NJ), Tröegs Independent Brewing (Hershey, PA), Unibroue (Chambly, QC), and Victory Brewing Company (Downington, PA).
And if dad isn’t into craft beer, there is an array of local eateries that are going to be stationed around the festival, including: Baby Blues BBQ, Chickies & Pete’s, Nico’s Pizza and More!, Sum Pig Food Truck, The Cow and The Curd, Trent’s Treats, and many others to be announced closer to the festival.
“Rock Allegiance has become a staple on the U.S. festival circuit,” said Zoltan Bathory of Five Finger Death Punch. “It’s one of the coolest festivals out there for fans to discover new music and see their favorite bands live. We are excited to return this year to see our friends and fans in Philly. Don’t miss it! It will be another great one this year.”
